DOMBROSKI NAMED TO ALL-COLONIAL STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S LACROSSE SECOND TEAM

Aston, PA (April 29, 2009) – Junior midfielder Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, Pa. / Blue Mountain) was named to the All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women’s Lacrosse Second Team by a vote of the league’s head coaches released on Wednesday by the conference office.  Dombroski was also named to the All-CSAC Sportsmanship Team. 

Dombroski, a two-time CSAC Player of the Week, led Cedar Crest in goals, points, shots, game-winning goals, free position goals, draw controls, and caused turnovers.  She tallied at least one point in 15 of the 16 games for the Falcons this season. 

She scored a career-high seven goals in a 15-1 victory over Trinity College on March 14th.  She then tallied six goals in a 20-19 overtime victory over the College of Notre Dame on April 4th. 

Cedar Crest, led by first-year head coach and former Duke All-American Lauren Gallagher Wray, finished the season at 6-10 overall (1-6 CSAC).
