DOMBROSKI NAMED COLONIAL STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (March 9, 2009) – Junior midfielder Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, Pa. / Blue Mountain) was named the Colonial States Athlete Conference (CSAC) Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 8th.

Dombroski posted a career-high six goals to lead the Cedar Crest College lacrosse team to a 9-4 victory over Ferrum College (VA) on Thursday afternoon at Scotty Wood Stadium on the campus of Muhlenberg College. 

She also added two ground balls, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers in the win. 

Cedar Crest, led by first-year head coach and former Duke All-American Lauren Gallagher Wray, is currently 1-0 overall on the season.  The Falcons will head to Washington, D.C. to take on Trinity College on Saturday, March 14 for a 12:00 p.m. non-league contest.
