CAMPBELL NAMED TO COLONIAL STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SOFBTALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (April 27, 2009) – Senior Sarah Campbell (Notre Dame HS/Plainfield, IL) was named to the Colonial States Athlete Conference (CSAC) Softball Honor Roll of the Week for the week ending April 26.

Campbell ended her senior season on an 18-game hitting streak this past weekend.  She hit .476 in 21 at-bats, notching nine runs on ten hits, with two doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI, as the Falcons went 2-4 in conference play this past week.

Campbell hit back-to-back homeruns to lead the Cedar Crest to a 13-6 victory over Keystone College.  She went 2-for-4 in the game, tallying a career-high eight RBI and scoring four runs.   

She ended her season, leading the team with a .389 batting average.  She also led the team in hits, triples, homeruns, RBI, and slugging percentage. 

Cedar Crest ended the season with an 11-19 overall record (8-14).
