GRUZDIS RECEIVES ALL-COLONIAL STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SOFTBALL HONORS

Aston, PA (May 4, 2010) – Junior second baseman Tammy Gruzdis (Allentown, PA/Liberty) was named to the All-Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Softball Honorable Mention Team by a vote of the league’s head coaches released on Tuesday by the conference office. 

Junior Amy Stumpff was also named to the All-CSAC Sportsmanship Team. 

Gruzdis, a team captain, led Cedar Crest, batting a team-high .411 on the year.  She also led the team with 107 at-bats, 44 hits, 29 runs, three triples, and a .495 slugging percentage. 

Cedar Crest finished the season with an 10-24 overall record (5-17 CSAC).
