CEDAR CREST SOCCER FALLS TO IMMACULATA IN CSAC PLAY
Immaculata, PA (September 26, 2009) – Immaculata University handed the Cedar Crest College soccer team a 7-0 loss in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Janet Carney, Bridget Cunningham, and Zena Tracy each tallied two goals for the Mighty Macs. Immaculata’s Ashley McMullan came off the bench to add the final goal of the contest.
Senior Heidi Paul (Unionville, CT/Farmington) made 10 saves in the net for the Falcons, while Jessica Garubo made two stops for Immaculata.
The Mighty Macs held a 29-2 shot advantage in the win.
The Falcons fall to 2-7 overall (0-2 CSAC) on the season, while Immaculata improves to 3-3-2 overall (1-0-1 CSAC).
