CEDAR CREST SOCCER FALLS TO BAPTIST BIBLE
Allentown, PA (October 17, 2009)- The Cedar Crest College soccer team fell, 6-0, to Baptist Bible College in Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon in the team's think pink game.
Sandy Richie led Baptist Bible with two goals, while Brittany Dewalt added one goal and one assist in the win for the Defenders. Laurie Plant, Jennifer Nierman, and Heidi Howell also each tallied a goal.
Senior Heidi Paul made a game-high 16 saves in goal for the Falcons.
The Defenders outshot Cedar Crest 30-9, while holding a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Falcons fall to 3-11-1 (1-6 CSAC) on the season, while Baptist Bible improves to 9-7 (5-3 CSAC). Cedar Crest will host Neumann University on Tuesday, October 20th for a 4:00 p.m. Colonial States Athletic Conference contest.
