BALLREICH NAMED TO ALL-CSAC SOCCER TEAM; MENDEZ NAMED TO SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM

Aston, PA (November 1, 2009) – Junior Tatiana Ballreich (Huntingdon, PA/Huntingdon) was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Soccer Team by a vote of the league’s head coaches released on Monday by the Conference office.

Freshman Daniella Mendez (Ceder Grove, NJ/Montclair Kimberley) was also named to the CSAC Sportsmanship Team. 

Ballreich, a midfielder, led Cedar Crest this fall with four goals for eight points on the season.  She also led the team with 39 shots. 

Ballreich scored a hat-trick, including the game-winner, in a 9-0 win over Wilson College on September 17th. 

The Falcons finished the season with a 4-14-1 overall record.
