WICKS NAMED CEDAR CREST FALCON OF THE WEEK

Allentown, PA (October 20, 2009) – Freshman Sarah Wicks (Bethel, PA/Hamburg) was named the Cedar Crest College Falcon of the Week for her outstanding play in the week ending October 19th. 

Wicks was the lone winner in singles play for Cedar Crest in the Falcons’ 5-2 loss to Neumann University in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Championship quarterfinals on Saturday evening. 

She was named Second Team All-CSAC for her play at the No. 3 singles spot this season.  She was also named Honorable Mention All-CSAC for her play in No. 2 doubles action. 

Wicks was named to the CSAC Tennis Honor Roll for her performance in the week ending September 13th.  She finished the season with an 11-3 overall record (8-2 CSAC).
