CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS KEYSTONE IN CSAC ACTION

Allentown, PA (September 29, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team won its second-straight Colonial States Athletic Conference match in a 3-0 victory over Keystone College on Tuesday evening in Lees Gymnasium. 

Cedar Crest topped the Giants in three sets by scores of: 25, 19, 25-14, and 25-11. 

Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle HS) notched 13 kills and six service aces, while senior Mackenzie Lee (Bar Harbor, ME/Mount Desert Island) added 11 kills and five digs for Cedar Crest.  Senior Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) added 12 kills and eight digs.

Junior setter Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) posted a game-high 31 assists for the Falcons in the win. Sophomore Marie Pozella (Athens, PA/Athens) matched her career-high with a team-high 12 digs.

The Falcons improve to 5-7 overall (2-1 CSAC) on the season, while Keystone College falls to 1-11 overall (0-3 CSAC).
