CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL TOPS ROSEMONT IN CSAC ACTION

Rosemont, PA (October 7, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team topped Rosemont College, 3-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Wednesday evening.

Cedar Crest topped Rosemont in three sets by scores of: 25-21, 25-21, and 25-17.

Mackenzie Lee (Bar Harbor, ME/Mount Desert Island) posted a team-high 12 kills and eight digs to lead the Falcons in the CSAC win.  Junior setter Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) posted a team-high 23 assists and had a team-high 10 digs for Cedar Crest.

Rosemont’s Karen Boyle led the Ravens with eight kills and 10 digs.

The Falcons improve to 7-9 overall (3-2 CSAC) on the season, while Rosemont College falls to 5-9 overall (0-4 CSAC).
