CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL FALLS IN FOUR SETS TO BAPTIST BIBLE

Clarks Summit, PA (October 29, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team fell, 3-1, to host Baptist Bible College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Thursday evening in Huckaby Gymnasium. 

Baptist Bible topped Cedar Crest by scores of: 25-9, 25-18, 26-24, and 25-15.

Junior Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) led the way for the Falcons with 18 assists and a team-high 16 digs.  She also added a team-high three service aces.  Senior Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) added 13 digs for Cedar Crest.

Marlie Kneiffel led the Defenders with 14 kills and 11 digs in the victory.

The Falcons fall to 9-15 (4-6 CSAC) on the season.  Cedar Crest will host Centenary College on Saturday, October 31st at 1:00 p.m. in CSAC action.  This game will honor seniors Kelly Oakes, Mackenzie Lee, Amanda Dombroski, Courtney Thomas, Danielle Niles, Jesenia Holguin, Jackie Tuttle, and Devin Ursini.
