CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL DROPS SEASON FINALE TO CENTENARY COLLEGE

Allentown, PA (October 31, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team fell to Centenary College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Lees Gymnasium in the team’s final contest of the season.    
   
Centenary topped Cedar Crest, 3-0, by scores of 256-24, 25-18, and 25-22.

Junior setter Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) led Cedar Crest all with 20 assists and five digs. Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle) posted a team-high nine kills and added eight digs, while senior Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) tallied 10 digs.  Senior Mackenzie Lee (Bar Harbor, ME/Mount Desert Island) posted a team-high 15 digs and four service aces in the loss for the Falcons. 

Seniors Oakes, Dombroski, Lee, Danielle Niles, Jesenia Holguin, Courtney Thomas, Devin Ursini, and Jackie Tuttle were honored in a pre-game ceremony in recognition of senior day. 

Cedar Crest finishes the season at 9-15 (4-6 CSAC) overall.
