CEDAR CREST VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO MISERICORDIA

Dallas, PA (September 15, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Misericordia University on Tuesday evening in non-league action at Anderson Gym.

Misericordia, which improves to 6-2 overall with the victory, topped the Falcons in three sets, 25-21, 25-11, and 25-7.

Cailin McCullion led the Cougars with a game-high eight kills and 12 digs, while Krystal Burford and Kristin Hoffman each added seven kills in the win for Misericordia.

Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle HS) posted a team-high six kills and seven digs.Senior Amanda Dombroski (Orwigsburg, Pa/Blute Mountain HS) added a game-high 14 digs for the Falcons.

The Falcons, who fall to 3-2 overall, will travel to William Patterson University on Thursday, September 17th for a 7:00 p.m. non-league matchup.
