PBU VOLLEYBALL TOPS CEDAR CREST IN CSAC OPENER

Langhorne, PA (September 23, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team fell, 3-0, to Philadelphia Biblical University on Wednesday evening in both teams Colonial States Athletic Conference openers. 

PBU best the Falcons in three sets by scores of: 25-15, 25-11, and 25-16. 

Senior Kelly Oakes (Wilmington, DE/Delcastle HS) led Cedar Crest with four kills and four digs in the loss.  Junior setter Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) posted a team-high seven assists for the Falcons.

Lindsay Dagger posted a game-high 11 kills to lead PBU, while teammate Carly Plank added nine kills in the victory.

The Falcons fall to 3-7 overall (0-1 CSAC) on the season, while Philadelphia Biblical University improves to 9-6 overall (1-0 CSAC).
