CEDAR CREST CROSS COUNTRY TAKES SEVENTH PLACE AT LEHIGH VALLEY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bethlehem, PA (September 4, 2009) – The Cedar Crest College cross country team posted a seventh place finish overall at the Lehigh Valley Cross Country Championship.

Junior Katie Hartman (New Ringgold, PA/Tamaqua) led the Falcons with a 27th place finish overall in a time of 25:45.4.  Sophomore Jenna Beidelman (Schnecksville, PA/Parkland HS) was the next finisher for the Falcons, coming in 36th place in a time of 27:06.3.

Lehigh finished in first place with 35 points, while Lafayette took second place after earning 56 points.  Kutztown placed third with 62 team points, while Muhlenberg, Moravian, and DeSales took fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively. 

Cedar Crest will travel over to Immaculata University for the Immaculata Invitational on Saturday, September 12th for a 10:00 a.m. start.
