HARTMAN NAMED CSAC RUNNER OF THE WEEK; KUEBLER NAMED TO CSAC HONOR ROLL

Aston, PA (September 21, 2009) – Junior Katie Hartman (New Ringgold, PA/Tamaqua) was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Runner of the Week, while junior Alex Kuebler (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills) was named to the CSAC Tennis Honor Roll released by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Hartman, who has finished first for the Falcons in all four meets this season, finished in first place overall out of 65 runners in a time of 21:15 at the Falcon Classic held on the campus of Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon.  Cedar Crest won the team meet with a team total of 33 points.

Kuebler went 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles for the Falcons in a (3-0, 1-0 CSAC) week.  Kuebler went undefeated against Philadelphia Biblical University, PSU Abington, and the College of St. Elizabeth.

This marks the second time a Cedar Crest tennis player has been honored by the CSAC this season.  Freshman Sarah Wicks was named the CSAC Tennis Player of the Week on September 13th.  This is the first time a Cedar Crest runner has been recognized by the CSAC.
