NEUMANN CLIPS CEDAR CREST 6-0 IN SOCCER
Aston, PA (October 2, 2010) – Six different Knights found the back of the net today as Neumann notched a 6-0 CSAC win over Cedar Crest.
Neumann scored in the first eleven minutes and then again shortly before the half to enter the break up 2-0. The Falcons spent most of the day on defense, not getting off a shot in the game but coming up with 13 saves. Nevertheless, the Knights scored four more times in the second half to seal the 6-0 victory.
Cedar Crest is at 0-9 on the season and 0-4 in the CSAC. Neumann is 3-5-1 and 2-2 in the CSAC.
Next up, the Falcons will play host to Marywood in a CSAC matchup on Tuesday, October 5, at 4:00 p.m.
