CEDAR CREST TENNIS SHOWS PENN STATE BERKS NO MERCY IN 8-1 WIN
Allentown, PA (September 18, 2010) - Cedar Crest College made short work of the Penn State Berks Nittany Lions today in women's tennis, winning 8-1. It was the second consecutive win for the Falcons.
Cedar Crest swept all positions in both singles and doubles, with the exception of the number six singles in which PSU's Meghan Hartley defeated Cassandra Bejar (Allentown, PA/Wm. Allen) 6-4, 3-6, 10-2.
Falcon senior Amy Dichter (West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) had her fourth consecutive win at number three singles, defeating Aimee Hoffman 6-2, 6-1.
Cedar Crest improves to 2-3 overall, 1-2 CSAC. Penn State Berks begins the season 0-1.
The Falcons will travel to Eastern University for a non-conference match on Tuesday, September 21, at 3:30 p.m.
