CABRINI ROUGHS UP FALCONS IN A 7-2 TENNIS LOSS
Allentown, PA (October 7, 2010) - Cedar Crest's tennis team took some lumps today in a loss at home to CSAC rival Cabrini College.
The 7-1 Cavaliers ruled from start to finish, allowing the Falcons' only two points to come by way of defaults at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles. Senior Amy Dichter's (West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) streak of doubles victories came to an end at eight with a loss to Cabrini's No. 2 doubles team of Gabriela Durand and Adriana Scotto. Dichter's No. 3 singles set provided the match's only excitement, as the Cavaliers' Alexis DiCamillo eaked out the win 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 10-3.
The Falcons drop to 5-5 and are 4-3 in the CSAC. Cabrini improves to 12-2 and 7-1 in the CSAC.
Next, Cedar Crest plays on the road at Neumann in a CSAC match on Friday, October 8th, at 4:00 p.m.
