VOLLEYBALL TEAM OPENS CONFERENCE SCHEDULE WITH WIN OVER ROSEMONT
Allentown, PA (September 14, 2010) - The Cedar Crest College volleyball team made short work of the Ravens in a 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening.
The young Falcon team finally got the monkey off their back with their first win of the season in just three sets, 25-12, 25-16, and 25-8.
Freshman Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley) led the team in kills with twelve. Senior Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) had 23 assists, 11 digs and six aces, while junior Katey Dauble (Allentown, PA/Wm Allen) had seven digs.
Cedar Crest improves to 1-5 on the season and 1-0 in the CSAC, while Rosemont drops to 0-8, 0-2 CSAC.
The Falcons will play at non-conference opponent Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, September 18, at 11:00 a.m.
