CEDAR CREST DEFEATED BY BAPTIST TO GO 1-1 IN CONFERENCE PLAY
Allentown, PA (September 22, 2010) - The Baptist Bible College Defenders defended their unbeaten CSAC record by handing a 3-0 loss to the host Cedar Crest College Falcons in volleyball action tonight, winning by 25-15, 25-17, and 25-16.
Senior Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) had nine assists and led the team in digs with 10. Freshman Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley) led the team in kills with seven to go with seven digs, while junior Katey Dauble (Allentown, PA/Wm Allen) had seven digs as well. Freshman Kamala Meena Sutton (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) had nine digs.
Cedar Crest's record is now 1-7 on the season and 1-1 in the CSAC. Baptist Bible is 7-7 and 2-0 in the conference.
The Falcons will travel to the College of Notre Dame for a conference match on Friday, September 24, at 6:30 p.m.
