IN VOLLEYBALL, FALCONS GROUNDED BY CYCLONES IN THREE SETS

Hackettstown, NJ (October 2, 2010) - Cedar Crest's young volleyball team continued to struggle on the road today at CSAC rival Centenary, losing 25-10, 25-15 and 25-16. Among the few bright spots however was the play of freshman Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley) who led all players with seven aces, led the Falcons in kills with six, and also had six digs.

Senior Lauren Seale (Wilmington, DE/Wilmington Christian) had eight assists to further extend her school assist record, and led the team in digs with eight. Freshman Kamala Meena Sutton (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle)  had six digs to go with four kills.

Cedar Crest drops to 2-10 on the season and 1-4 in the CSAC. Centenary improves to 5-14, 2-0 CSAC.

Next up, Cedar Crest will host CSAC foe Immaculata on Tuesday, October 2nd, at 7:00 p.m.
