Day of Service: January 21, 2013
Thank you to everyone who has registered to participate in the second annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. If you haven't already registered, you may do so by completing the form on the Employee Tab on My Cedar Crest.
The MLK Day of Service will take place on Monday, Jan. 21st. Breakfast will be served in the Tompkins College Center at 8:30 a.m., where you will also sign in to get your t-shirt and location assignment. Feel free to dress in casual attire.
All registered volunteers will be assigned to one of the participating organizations. Buses will be on campus to take volunteers to all locations. Lunch will be provided.
Volunteers unable to participate in the morning due to office coverage needs will have an option of participating in the afternoon.
Morning Schedule:
Arrival and breakfast: 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Welcome: 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Load first bus and travel to sites: 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Service: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Return to campus: 1 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Enjoy lunch upon your return.
Afternoon Schedule:
Lunch: 11 a.m. to Noon
Load second bus and travel to sites: Noon - 12: 30 p.m.
Service: 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Return to campus: 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Cedar Crest College will also be holding a school supplies drive. Donations will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown and the Sixth Street Shelter. Drop off your donations at the registration table and receive a raffle ticket!
