Students developed their pieces during a fall and spring Student DanceWorks class taught by the concert’s director, Michelle Rose Munno, assistant professor of dance at Cedar Crest. Themes for the pieces range from the priceless nature of time in the face of serious illness, to the impact of domestic violence on women and families, to popular culture icons such as Harry Potter and Alfred Hitchcock, and much more.

Student choreographers whose work will be featured include seniors Tonya Cooper of Bethlehem, Pa.; Kristina Hines of King of Prussia, Pa.; Melissa Keiser of Emmaus, Pa.; Cinthia Marino of Brodheadsville, Pa.; Natalie McDowell of Cresaptown, Md.; Paul Newman of Hamburg, Pa.; Meegan Schuckers of Cheshire, Conn.; Colleen Spease of Hamburg, Pa.; and Kaitlin Swisher of Enola, Pa.; and junior Leigh Anne Ehnot of Dunmore, Pa. Lighting design will be provided by Roxanne Amico, professor of performing arts at Cedar Crest.
