Cedar Crest Dance Students Present Original
Choreography During Student DanceWorks
Allentown, Pa. (April 7, 2010)—Cedar Crest College will showcase the original choreography of students during its annual Student DanceWorks held on Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24, at 8 p.m. in the Samuels Theatre of Tompkins College Center.
Students developed their pieces during a fall and spring Student DanceWorks class taught by the concert’s director, Michelle Rose Munno, assistant professor of dance at Cedar Crest. Themes for the pieces range from the priceless nature of time in the face of serious illness, to the impact of domestic violence on women and families, to popular culture icons such as Harry Potter and Alfred Hitchcock, and much more.

Lighting design will be provided by Roxanne Amico, professor of performing arts at Cedar Crest.
