CENTER FOR LIFELONG LEARNING OFFERS BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION SPECIAL TOPICS COURSES
Allentown, PA (December 7, 2006) The Department of Business, Management and Economics at Cedar Crest College will offer three business-related special topics courses beginning in January 2007. The courses listed below are available for college credit or to audit:
•THE ABC'S OF MANAGING SUPERLATIVELY WELL
Meets January 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 13 . 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This course will go beyond the classroom to explore the essentials of managing in the real world. You will learn how to define your objectives, recognize the abilities and motivations of your employees, determine the resources needed to reach your objective, and develop a plan that will lead you to success.
•DECISION MAKING 101
Meets February 20, 27 and March 13, 20, 27 . 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Whether you are managing a Fortune 500 company, a house full of kids, or a busy social life, the principles of sound decision making are the same. This course will put all of these into perspective and will help you understand how to align your options with your objectives, so you can start making the best decisions.
Meets April 3, 10, 17, 24, May 1 . 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Success depends on perception. This course will teach you how to develop a comprehensive approach to selling yourself, which includes defining your audience, analyzing your attributes, and fitting your strengths to the expectations of the audience.
