CEDAR CREST COLLEGE'S CENTER FOR LIFELONG LEARNING ANNOUNCES MARCH INFORMATION SESSIONS
Allentown, PA (February 15, 2006) – The Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedar Crest College invites the public to learn about available programs of study through a series of information sessions in March:
Tuesday, March 14, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Business, Accounting and Marketing: Prepare for the many career opportunities available in industry, government, health, social services, and education as successful auditors, public and tax accountants, marketing managers, human resource professionals, bankers, and financial analysts, among others.
Tuesday, March 14, 2006 @ 6:30 p.m. – Social Work and Criminal Justice: The U.S. Department of Labor has predicted that employment in the social work field is projected to increase 36 percent or more. Also, learn how a degree in Criminal Justice will prepare students for placement in a wide variety of professions.
Wednesday, March 15, 2006 @ 6:30 p.m. –Nursing: The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing is the preferred entry level for today’s professional nurse. Includes info about School Nurse Certification.
Thursday, March 16, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Education: Excellent job opportunities are expected as a large number of teachers will retire over the next 10 years. Learn about Cedar Crest's undergraduate and graduate programs.
