Allentown, PA (February 8, 2007) - The Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedar Crest College invites the public to learn about available programs of study through a series of information sessions in March:

Tuesday, March 6, 2007 @ 6:00 p.m. - Criminal Justice: Learn how a degree in Criminal Justice will prepare students for placement in a wide variety of professions that include Correctional Management, Federal Law Enforcement, fraud/bank investigation and much more.

Tuesday, March 13, 2007 @ 6:30 p.m. - Psychology & Social Work: Learn how you can become a Behavior Analyst, Therapist, Case Worker, Counselor or research Analyst.  Earn a degree in Psychology with optional concentrations in Biopsychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

The Social Work program at Cedar Crest College is accredited by the Council on Social work Education.  The U.S. Department of Labor has predicted that employment in the social work field is projected to increase 36 percent or more.

Wednesday, March 14, 2007 @ 6:00 p.m. - Business Administration, Marketing and Accounting: Prepare for the many career opportunities available in industry, government, health, social services, and education as successful auditors, public and tax accountants, marketing managers, human resource professionals, bankers, and financial analysts, among others.

Thursday, March 15, 2007 @ 6:00 p.m. - Education: Cedar Crest College offers undergraduate and graduate programs in elementary and secondary education, and add-on certification in special education.  The Art of Teaching concentration for certified teachers is also available through graduate study.
