CEDAR CREST COLLEGE HOSTS PROGRAM AS PART OF WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP SERIES
Allentown, PA (January 14, 2009)-Cedar Crest College’s Women’s Leadership Series presents “Leadership at All Levels,” a program featuring Judi Hampton, an internationally renowned public relations consultant, executive coach, diversity management expert, and visiting Woodrow Wilson Fellow, on Wednesday, January 28, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Harmon Hall.
Hampton, principal of Judi Hampton Public Relations, a consulting firm that specializes in executive coaching and professional development workshops, will share her unique perspective with the public during the free program, in which she will discuss how people can be effective leaders at work, in the community, and within their family-regardless of their relative status. As part of the Wilson Fellowship, Hampton--producer of the Eye on the Prize, the Emmy Award-winning documentary series on the Civil Rights Movement--will meet with students, faculty, and others in the Cedar Crest College community from January 27-29 to discuss workplace dynamics and communication.

The Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows program, which is administered by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) in Washington, DC, brings prominent artists, diplomats, journalists, business leaders, and other professionals to campuses across the United States for a week-long residential program of classes, seminars, workshops, lectures, and informal discussions. For 35 years, the Visiting Fellows have been introducing students and faculty members at liberal arts colleges to a wide range of perspectives on life, society, community, and achievement.
