RODALE AQUATIC CENTER FOR CIVIC HEALTH OFFERS PADI SCUBA COURSE

Allentown, PA (March 21, 2007) - The Rodale Aquatic Center for Civic Health at Cedar Crest College will once again offer a swim school course designed especially for people who would like to obtain Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) SCUBA diving certification.

"PADI is the most widely recognized and respected diving certification in the world," says Scott Rowlands, Director or the Rodale Aquatic Center.  "We are happy to be able to offer this opportunity to the public again."

Two sessions are currently being offered.  The first begins on March 27, 2007 and the second begins on May 29th.

PADI certification allows a person to SCUBA dive in open water without a master instructor.  Classes will include both pool modules at Aquatic Center and open water training at Dutch Springs in Bethlehem.  James Karapelou, PADI Master Instructor will conduct the classes, which are open to persons aged 10 years and up.

To register or for more information about the PADI SCUBA class, please contact the Rodale Aquatic Center at 610.606.4670 or E-mail aquatics@cedarcrest.edu.
