GALLERY EXHIBIT

GRADUATING ART STUDENTS SHOWCASE WORKS IN NEW EXHIBIT
Show to Feature a Variety of Media and Styles

Allentown, PA (March 28, 2006) – Seven graduating art majors will showcase a diverse array of art styles in this year's Senior Art Show. The exhibit will open on April 24, 2006 in the Tompkins Gallery at Cedar Crest College and will include works in sculpture, painting, printmaking, bookforms, and jewelry and metalsmithing. A reception for the artists will take place at 3:00 p.m. on April 24th and the show runs through May 11, 2006.

Student artists included in the exhibition are:

Jennifer Evans, of Summit Hill, PA, exhibiting fragmented figures in painting and sculpture.

Lisa Fitz, of Wading River, NY, showing a series of paintings dealing with the elements and emotional states.

Jenna Graybill, of Orefield, PA, who explores the anatomy of flowers in paint.

Rachel Labosky, of Lansford, PA, who investigates animals in profile through her paintings, prints and sculpture.

Sarah Magner, of Bethlehem, PA, will show her illustrations for childrens books.

Devon Mauricio, of Allentown, PA, who explores the natural world in 3-dimensions.

Virginia Wortman, of Orefield, PA, working with handmade paper, mixed media and memory.
