RODALE AQUATIC CENTER FOR CIVIC HEALTH OFFERS PADI SCUBA COURSE

Allentown, PA (May 23, 2006) – The Rodale Aquatic Center for Civic Health at Cedar Crest College will once again offer a swim school course designed especially for people who would like to obtain Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) SCUBA diving certification. There will be two courses held this summer beginning on May 30th and July 11th.

“PADI is the most widely recognized and respected diving certification in the world,” says Scott Rowlands, Director or the Rodale Aquatic Center. “We are happy to be able to offer this opportunity to the public again.”

PADI certification allows a person to SCUBA dive in open water without a master instructor. Classes will include both pool modules at the Aquatic Center and open water training at Dutch Springs in Bethlehem. James Karapelou, PADI Master Instructor will conduct the classes, which are open to persons aged 10 years and up.

The cost: $350.00 (includes all pool rental equipment and classroom materials).
