Rodale Aquatic Center Will Offer American Red Cross Training Classes to Businesses

Allentown, PA (October 4, 2004) - The Rodale Aquatic Center for Civic Health announces a new program aimed at businesses whose employees require certification in CPR techniques. The American Red Cross Outreach Program will come to a business's location to train employees as Professional Rescuers, eliminating the need for employees to travel off-site for classes.

"Businesses can and often require their employees to be trained and/or certified in CPR," says Scott Rowlands, director of the Rodale Aquatic Center. "The American Red Cross Outreach program will allow for a more flexible schedule where a business can choose a date that works best for their employees and eliminates extra travel time for them."

Classes are available for both infant and adult CPR, making the program ideal for occupations that may require training such as security personnel, day care employees, baby sitters and school teachers. This training enables Professional Rescuers to promote safety and respond appropriately in breathing and cardiac emergencies.
