Allentown, PA (September 13, 2005) – The Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedar Crest College invites the public to learn about available programs of study through a series of information sessions in October:

Tuesday, October 11, 2005 @ 6:00 p.m. – Nutrition: Put your interests in wellness, food and high-tech science to work! Employment opportunities are vast! Become a Registered Dietician.

Wednesday, October 12, 2005 @ 6:00 p.m. – Business and Accounting: Prepare for the many career opportunities available in industry, government, health, social services, and education.

Wednesday October 12, 2005 @ 6:30 p.m. – Political Science: The major in Political Science at Cedar Crest prepares students for successful careers in law, education, public administration, and public affairs. This major is an excellent choice for those desiring a pre-law program.

Monday, October 17, 2005 @ 6:30 p.m. – Nursing: The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing is the preferred entry level for today’s professional nurse.

Tuesday, October 18, 2005 @ 6:00 p.m. – Master's in Education: The M.Ed. program at Cedar Crest College prepares professional educators to meet the many challenges of the 21st century classroom.

Wednesday, October 19, 2005 @ 6:30 p.m. – Psychology: Earn a B.A. degree in Psychology or a B.S. degree in Psychology with a concentration in Biopsychology or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Thursday, October 20, 2005 @ 6:00 p.m. – Education: Excellent job opportunities are expected as a large number of teachers will retire over the next 10 years.
