Allentown, PA (September 27, 2006) – The Center for Lifelong Learning at Cedar Crest College invites the public to learn about available programs of study through a series of information sessions in October:

Tuesday, October 3, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Nursing: The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing is the preferred entry level for today’s professional nurse.  Includes info about School Nurse Certification.

Wednesday October 4, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Master of Education

Thursday, October 5, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Undergraduate Education:

Cedar Crest College offers undergraduate and graduate programs in elementary and secondary education, and add-on certification in special education.  The Art of Teaching concentration for certified teachers is also available through graduate study.

Tuesday, October 10, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. – Business Administration, Marketing and Accounting: Prepare for the many career opportunities available in industry, government, health, social services, and education as successful auditors, public and tax accountants, marketing managers, human resource professionals, bankers, and financial analysts, among others.

Tuesday, October 10, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. Nutrition: Prepare for a career in a vital, growing field that is open to creativity and opportunity for those who wish to discover how food affects the body and how to promote optimal wellness and quality of life by working with people of all ages.

Thursday, October 12, 2006 @ 6:00 p.m. - Criminal Justice: Learn how a degree in Criminal Justice will prepare students for placement in a wide variety of professions that include Correctional Management, Federal Law Enforcement, fraud/bank investigation and much more.
