Learn About Cedar Crest College’s New Reading Specialist

Certification Program During Summer Information Sessions

Allentown, Pa. (June 2, 2010)—Based on needs expressed by area school districts, Cedar Crest College will offer reading specialist certification to certified teachers beginning this August. The 24-credit graduate-level program—which was recently approved by the Pennsylvania Board of Education—prepares teachers to bring the latest instructional techniques for reading directly into their k-12 classrooms or, with the literacy coaching option, to train their colleagues.
