Student Affairs Policies
A student desiring to withdraw voluntarily from the college must obtain an application for withdrawal from the Registrar. For the non-resident student, withdrawal will be official when this form is completed and returned to the Registrar's Office. For the resident student, withdrawal will be official when the student's room has been vacated and the completed form is returned to the Registrar's Office.
Leave of Absence
Occasionally a student finds it necessary to interrupt her college studies for a semester or more. If she intends to return, she may take a leave of absence. The student goes through the usual process of withdrawing from the College but indicates in writing on all forms that she is taking a leave of absence. Completion of the form and a brief meeting with the Dean of Student Affairs is necessary to finalize the process.
