Traveling Chefs to Prepare Unique Lunch at Cedar Crest College Wednesday

Chef JerryThe Cedar Crest College community will enjoy a unique lunchtime dining experience this Wednesday, November 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tompkins College Center Dining Hall, thanks to Parkhurst Dining Services and its Traveling Chefs program.

Traveling Chefs brings chefs from various college and university campuses that use Parkhurst Dining Services together to prepare meals with an international flavor in full view of diners. This particular program features Jerry Rogers, executive chef at Cedar Crest College, as well as chefs from Gwynedd-Mercy College, Philadelphia University and Bucknell University. Meals that will be prepared include Bombay shrimp; chicken with mushrooms and butternut squash coulis; pasta with tomatoes, basil, and arugula; and Venezuelan pulled pork with arepas.

All meal plans will be accepted. The cash or Flex dollars price will be $6.05 per person.
