‘Traveling Chefs’ Brings Global Cuisine to Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 17
This week is International Education Week, and Parkhurst/Cedar Crest Dining Services will provide a mouth-watering experience in global cuisine when “Traveling Chefs” comes to the Tompkins College Center dining hall on Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The college community is invited to the dining hall during that time to see four college and university chefs who are part of the Parkhurst team—Jerry Rogers, executive chef at Cedar Crest College; Kevin Jones, executive chef at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore; Terry McMullen, executive chef at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa.; and Leon Crockett, executive chef at Rosemont College in Rosemont, Pa.—as they prepare Asian and Cuban dishes that are available for diners. A couple of the main dishes include shrimp creole and a Cuban ham sandwich.
All meal plans will be accepted. The cash or flex dollars price will be $6.05 per person.
