Cedar Crest Biological Sciences Students Net Research Grants

Three Cedar Crest College students in the biological sciences department recently earned grants from prestigious organizations in the field: Christina Matika ’10, a genetic engineering major who does research with Andre Walther, Ph.D., assistant professor of biological sciences, earned a grant from Beta Beta Beta national biology honors society; Catherine Bradshaw ’10, a biology major who works in the lab with Amy Reese, Ph.D., assistant professor of biological sciences, earned a grant from the Pennsylvania Academy of Sciences; and Tasha Cornish ’10, a neuroscience major who does research with Audrey Ettinger, Ph.D., associate professor of biological sciences, also earned a grant from the Pennsylvania Academy of Sciences.
