What's Happening at Cedar Crest College
'Women, Culture and Fashion' featuring former Project Runway Contestant Today at 11:30 a.m.
Cedar Crest College will host “Women, Culture and Fashion” on Thursday, March 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring fashion designer Marla Duran, a contestant from season 2 of Project Runway on the Lifetime Television Network. The event, which is free and open to the public, will kick off with a welcome from senior Diana Catron and then a poem from English Professor Carolyn Segal, Ph.D., followed by Duran, who will share her industry experiences and insights with the audience. In addition, fashions from today and yesteryear will be displayed, and participants will have an opportunity to win a raffle featuring prizes from national clothing retailers. The event will be held on the third floor of Tompkins College Center.
