What's Happening at Cedar Crest College

Student DanceWorks: In the Studio with Carole Ann Danner

Student DanceWorks, a dance program featuring original choreography from Cedar Crest College students, takes the stage on April 15 and 16 at 8 p.m., with a matinee on April 17 at 2 p.m. Public performances will be held in the Samuels Theatre of Tompkins College Center.

During the week leading up to this exciting show, What’s Happening will feature profiles and videos of many of the student choreographers who “make the show go.”

Why She Dances: “I use it as a way to express myself. It is my life and I hope that it continues to stay that way for the rest of my life.”

Title of Piece Featured in Student DanceWorks: “All Little Imaginative Creatures Evolve” or “ALICE,” as in Alice in Wonderland.

Student DanceWorks is directed by Michelle Munno Jacobs, an assistant professor of dance at Cedar Crest College. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for senior citizens; and $5 for students with ID.
