Cedar Crest College Selects New Admissions Director
Cedar Crest College recently hired R. Lincoln “Linc” Morris to be its new director of admissions. Morris has several years of experience in the admissions departments of both public and private higher education institutions. Most recently, has served as director of admissions and scholarships at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, where he was responsible for all aspects of student recruitment, and admissions processes and policies.
“I am eager to work with my top-notch admissions staff and the entire college community to attract more students who are interested in Cedar Crest College’s mission to develop leadership and good citizenship in every facet of life,” said Morris.
Before his most recent previous position at Bemidji State University, Morris served as vice president for enrollment management at Upper Iowa University, where he helped increase enrollment by 33 percent. He has also held admissions positions at Oklahoma City University, Wayne State College, and University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Morris holds a master of science in higher education administration/student affairs practice and bachelor of science degree in history from Illinois State University. He lives in Allentown.
