Cultural Café: Hosted the 1st Wednesday of every month 11a.m.-1 p.m. These events provide an opportunity for our students to Explore cultural diversity in the US and abroad through intentional experiential programing.
Gender and Sexuality Diversity Training:
- 101: In this presentation and workshop, participants will receive some introductory knowledge regarding GSD terminology and resources. This workshop also addresses the ideas of privilege and inclusivity, specifically regarding gender and sexuality, and reviews just some of the many ways in which gender and sexuality are diverse. This workshop encourages dialogue regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, and would be a great refresher (or intro course) prior to attending the Allies in Action. Two opportunities to attend this session are offered each semester.
- Allies in Action: An ally is not just a noun, it is a verb! Come view a brief presentation and participate in an interactive workshop to learn a few ways you can help make being an ally an everyday action, developing skills working in solidarity regarding gender and sexual diversity. Two opportunities to attend this session are offered each semester.
