The Black Student Union strives to represent the interests of African-Americans and people of African descent in all Cedar Crest College activities. By facilitating cultural exchanges among the campus population, they try to educate themselves and the community about the contributions of African-Americans. They also provide academic and social support to the African-American community on campus.

Outthere is Cedar Crest's Gender and Sexuality Diversity Organization. This organization is open to all members of the College community. It is designed as a safe spot for everyone interested in gender and sexuality, social activities, positive awareness and education.

FADED (Falcons, Advocate, Diversity, Educational, Drama)

FADED, which stands for Falcons, Advocate, Diversity, Educational, Drama, is an improv group of Cedar Crest College students who perform on a regular basis. Each cast member portrays a fictional character at “Falcon College,” and together they act out skits that address the big issues of the day at colleges and universities—especially those that relate to diversity—with an emphasis on doing so in an entertaining way.
