1. Symptoms are forms of communication
Do not ignore them.
Imagine you are driving your car and suddenly you notice a red light on the dashboard that signals you are running out of gas. What is the first thing that crosses your mind? How can I find a gas station? Of course! Your cars way of communicating with you was through a blinking light or a gauge, but the bodys way of communicating its needs is through the experience of a variety of symptoms. If we acknowledge them, we will do fine, but if we ignore our symptoms, either they get worse or new symptoms begin to emerge.

Symptoms are messengers; they are to be recognized and responded tothey are not meant to be ignored!
