Directions to campus can be found here. Note: Some GPS’s will take you to the Wells Fargo across the street from the College. Please cross Hamilton Boulevard and turn left onto campus or refer to Google Maps.
Parking is available in any lot marked #19 on the Campus Map. For August Orientation, it is best to park in the largest lot on campus near Alumnae Hall (#2 on the Campus Map).
Health Forms were due June 15th but they can still be faxed to 610-740-3798 or turned in at Check-in on or before August 24th. These forms are required for all new students and any student with missing or incomplete forms may have a hold placed on their account, have resident hall access removed, and/or be fined. Send completed forms to:

In order to check-in for orientation, you must be financially cleared. Anyone that is not financially cleared will be directed to the Student Financial Services Office to work out a plan. Please contact Financial Services at 610-606-4602 or firstname.lastname@example.org before August 24th so the check-in process won’t be hindered.
Check-in on August 24th between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Tompkins College Center (#25 on the Campus Map).
- Resident Students: Please arrive at Check-in between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Tompkins College Center to get your orientation materials and the key to your room. After going through check-in, you will then have time to go to your room and move in your items. Other students and staff will be there to assist you. Please keep track of time so that you don’t miss any mandatory sessions. Allow enough time to get through the check-in process and move in your items (you will have time to arrange your room the way you like it when orientation is over).
- Commuter Students: Please arrive at Check-in between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the Tompkins College Center. Please allow yourself enough time to get through the check-in process.
Open Door Ceremony
A campus tradition, Open Door Ceremony officially welcomes you to Cedar Crest as you follow in the footsteps of those who came before you. Open Door is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. on August 24th and is immediately followed by the class photos.
During this ceremony, you will greet the families and friends of your fellow classmates and the rest of the Cedar Crest College community. Please keep this in mind when it is time to freshen up/change clothes and prepare for the Ceremony and class photo in the allotted time before the event.
Playfair is an active and engaging event that you’ll participate in with your classmates on August 24th at 7:30 p.m. It’s best to dress comfortably for this event.
Convocation is the official opening of the College's academic year and new students are welcomed into the academic community. Business casual dress is requested for this event.
