MISERICORIDA HANDS CEDAR CREST LOSS IN PAC ACTION

Dallas, PA (January 14, 2008) – Misericordia University used a late second half surge to hand Cedar Crest College a 66-38 loss in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference action on Monday evening at the  Anderson Center. 

Freshman Leann Wallower exploded for a game-high 20 points, six rebounds, and three steals to lead the Falcons, while freshman Keri Lasky added ten points. 

The Falcons trailed only, 31-25, at the half, but ran out of gas in the second half as Misericordia went on a 25-0 run over a 13 minute period to go up, 58-31. 

Ericka Morrison led the Cougars with 17 points and eight steals while Amy Hughes added 16 points.

The Falcons fall to 4-8 overall (0-5 PAC) on the season, while Misericordia University improves to 7-5 overall (3-1 PAC).

Cedar Crest will return to action when they travel to Pennsylvania Athletic Conference rival Marywood University on Thursday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m.
