LASKY NAMED CEDAR CREST ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Allentown, PA (January, 16, 2008) -- Freshman guard Keri Lasky (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) was named the Cedar Crest Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance in the week ending January 14.

Lasky posted 20 points and three assists in the Falcons 71-55 loss to Baptist Bible College, while adding 22 points, six rebounds, 5 assists, and three steals in Cedar Crest’s 67-61 loss to PAC rival the College of Notre Dame. 

Lasky currently leads the team, averaging 15.3 points per outing.  She also boasts a team-best 81 percent free throw percentage. 

Lasky was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Player of the Week for her outstanding play in the week ending January 14.

Cedar Crest is now 4-8 (0-5 PAC) on the season. The Falcons will travel to Marywood University on Thursday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. to take on the Pacers in league action.
