WALLOWER NAMED TO PAC BASKETBALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK

Aston, PA (January 22, 2007) – Freshman Leann Wallower  (Havertown, PA/Haverford) was named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Basketball Honor Roll for her outstanding performance in the week ending January 20.

This marks the fourth time this season a Falcon has been recognized by the PAC.  Sophomore Kelly Oakes was named the PAC Co-Player of the Week in the week ending on November 26 and to the PAC Honorable Mention on the week ending December 9, while freshman Keri Lasky was recognized as a PAC Honorable Mention in the week ending January 13. 

Wallower exploded for a game-high 20 points, six rebounds, and three steals in a 66-38 loss to Misericordia University.  She continued her scoring ways, posting a game-high 17 points to lead the Falcons in a 70-52 loss to Marywood University. 

She then posted career-highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds, but it would not be enough as the Eastern University Eagles held on for a 65-61 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference victory.

The Falcons are currently 4-11 overall and 0-8 in the PAC and are set to host Misericordia University on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
