WALLOWER NAMED TO PAC BASKETBALL HONOR ROLL OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND WEEK IN A ROW

Aston, PA (January 28, 2007) – Freshman Leann Wallower  (Havertown, PA/Haverford) was named to the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Basketball Honor Roll for the second week in a row for her outstanding performance in the week ending January 27.

This marks the fifth time this season a Falcon has been recognized by the PAC.  Sophomore Kelly Oakes was named the PAC Co-Player of the Week in the week ending on November 26 and to the PAC Honorable Mention on the week ending December 9, while freshman Keri Lasky was recognized as a PAC Honorable Mention in the week ending January 13. 

Wallower notched a game-high 23 points, five boards, and one steal in the Falcons’ 68-58 loss to Centenary College on Monday, January 21.  She then hit a team-high 15 points and made four steals in Cedar Crest’s 67-47 loss to Misericordia University on Thursday, January 24. 

The Falcons are currently 4-12 overall and 0-9 in the PAC and are set to travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
